Pros you get flexible payment terms and con is the interest rates and not much rewards
More Commonwealth Bank credit card customer reviewsI like this product for the free flybuys on signing up and the ongoing rewards system, but the annual fees are too high to keep the credit card past the first year. I have previous experience of ANZ signing me up to products I haven't asked for in what I consider an unethical way.
More ANZ credit card customer reviewsChanged my payments date back eleven days. So went from towards end of the month repayments to the tenth of the month. My budget was perfect the way it was now I am very inconvenienced. Cannot understand who thought changing my payment date without notice was a good idea.
No rewards for both credit cards therefore I am Looking at other banks that offer rewards system for card usage
More Commonwealth Bank credit card customer reviewsHave always been pleased with the customer service- this is really important to me. You can speak to a human!
More Commonwealth Bank credit card customer reviewsI like Westpac because it is one of Australia's most established and trusted banks, offering a wide range of financial services that cater to both personal and business needs. Their digital banking platform is user-friendly and packed with features that make managing finances easy, from budgeting tools to seamless payments. I also appreciate their extensive branch and ATM network, which provides convenience for in-person banking when needed. Additionally, Westpac’s commitment to sustainability and ethical practices aligns with my values, making me feel good about banking with them. However, one downside is that their fees can be on the higher side compared to some competitors, and at times, the customer service experience can be inconsistent, particularly during peak periods. Despite these minor drawbacks, I find that the overall benefits and reliability of Westpac outweigh the negatives.
More Westpac credit card customer reviewsI love this card especially overseas when you don't pay for fees. The customer service centre is fantastic. I lost my card and they sent me one in less than a week
More 28 Degrees credit card customer reviewsEasy to deal with. Text message reminder about credit card payment requirements so they are not overlooked. Easyily man aged through Netbanking.
More Commonwealth Bank credit card customer reviewsTrusting this bank as they've helped me with scammers. Always ring me back if something is urgent and very helpful, organized, efficient and provide great customer service when money is to come back to me after being scammed eg ordering items online.
More Commonwealth Bank credit card customer reviewsThe process of application was very easy and streamlined. It was amazing how quickly the application was approved and the card arrived in the mail earlier then what was advised. Having a credit cards comes in handy for emergencies or the sneaky little splurge. Paying the credit card off is always good to set a budget with a direct debit coming out where you won't even miss the amount.
More Commonwealth Bank credit card customer reviewsCommunication is zero until you complain then they try and contact but they do not answer their "secure" mail emails at all. The actual statements that you receive are not consumer friendly to decipher and they do not have any branches close to call into. There are a lot of other banks that do care more and are more competitive with their fees and rewards structure. Overall Customer service is what they need to lift
More Bank of Queensland credit card customer reviewsThe Low Rate Visa Credit Card is good because the interest rates are low and you have a period of time to make repayments with no interest. The application was all online, never speaking to a customer representative. The process was a little confusing as I was contacted by Citi Bank for the process who wanted extra information regarding to my employment, which I had already provided, and they ended up approving before I could send that through to them anyway. Bank of Queensland’s app and internet banking platform has gotten better, but still falls far behind compared to bigger banks (e.g Commonwealth Bank).
More Bank of Queensland credit card customer reviewsI've been using the St. George Vertigo Credit Card for a while now, and I'm impressed with the low interest rates compared to competitors. It's been a great option for balance transfers, saving me money in the long run. The rewards program is straightforward, though I'd love to see more flexibility in redemption options. Customer service has always been helpful, especially during the sign-up process. On the downside, the app can be a bit slow at times, but overall, I'm happy with the convenience and benefits.
More St.George credit card customer reviewsCons - getting through to the call centre can be tedious. the interest rates are not favourable. glitches occur on the mobile app. refused a personal loan, where as another bank didn't.
