Communication is zero until you complain then they try and contact but they do not answer their "secure" mail emails at all. The actual statements that you receive are not consumer friendly to decipher and they do not have any branches close to call into. There are a lot of other banks that do care more and are more competitive with their fees and rewards structure. Overall Customer service is what they need to lift

The application was all online, never speaking to a customer representative. The process was a little confusing as I was contacted by Citi Bank for the process who wanted extra information regarding to my employment, which I had already provided, and they ended up approving before I could send that through to them anyway. Bank of Queensland’s app and internet banking platform has gotten better, but still falls far behind compared to bigger banks (e.g Commonwealth Bank).

It is an average product. It does offer free travel insurance and a $129 flight voucher each year, but you have to call them to arrange the voucher which is a bit dodgy on their part. It's like they want you to forget (which I have). You pay for it in the annual fee though.
