Ampol Energy has the cheapest rate and has solar Energy Credit And you can also receive .10 cents off your Ampol fuel Thanks
Sumo is who I chose to go with initially they were fantastic. Once I did the energy compare I found issues with them Pros - easy to access customer service Pro- easy to use account access via website Pro - can bundle electricity, gas and internet Cons - frequent robo calls when bills are slightly overdue this can be a pro too depending on your preference Con - no updates for long time customers when better deals become available and no compensation for when you have been on an outdated plan paying too much
As an EnergyAustralia customer, I've experienced both positive and negative aspects of their services. The company offers a range of energy plans, including electricity, gas, and NBN services, allowing customers to manage multiple utilities under one account. Their mobile app is user-friendly, enabling easy bill payments and account management. Pros: -User-friendly mobile app for account management. Offers a variety of energy plans, including dual fuel options. -Allows customers to bundle electricity, gas, and NBN services. Cons: -Limited commitment to renewable energy sources. Mixed customer reviews regarding service quality. -Not available in all states, such as Western Australia. In summary, EnergyAustralia provides a comprehensive range of services with a user-friendly app, but their limited focus on renewable energy and mixed customer feedback may be considerations for potential customers.
They were really helpful, the bills are easy to understand and they are upfront about their fees.
The provide high rates to charge, but provide a low tariff rate for energy back into the grid from solar. The customer service to get an answer to a simple performance question has to go through three different teams just for them to say they'll email you back with an answer and then just don't.
AGL is awesome and peak energy events with solar really help with the cost of living. They do actual meter readings which I like
Reasonable rates but are likely to change
very easy to use app and make direct debit for payments.
My bills were extremely high Just for basic daily item usage ie fridge /tv/ modem / hot water . No other providers in WA either so no competition allows the company ability to raise customer costs at anytime, frequenting approx. a few times a year of price rises, and only once a year (if lucky) government relief package covering maybe two bills if we ration out out usage daily.
I like this provider because hey are always courteous and if I have something that needs attention they are prompt at sending the required technician. I have been with them now for over 20 years and can thoroughly recommend them.
Great energy provider. Safe, affordable and reliable. 11/10.
Origin Energy have been easy to deal with, by far the best & fairest. We also purchased our Solar Panels through them & the whole experience was flawless. They speak to you like a human, compared to other Utility Companies I have dealt with in the past.
Easy to deal with , always give good price deals and put on best plans for my household. Highr payment for solar input than other companys
Decent prices, but good service and easy to understand bills
I recently switched to AGL for my electricity supply, hoping for a seamless experience given their reputation. While there were a few aspects I appreciated—like the easy online account setup and a user-friendly mobile app—overall, my experience has been disappointing. One of the main issues I’ve faced is the unexpectedly high billing. Despite comparing different plans and trying to monitor my usage via the app, the bills have consistently exceeded my expectations. I reached out to customer service to clarify the charges, but the responses were slow and often didn’t fully address my concerns. This lack of clear communication made an already frustrating situation more challenging. Another problem I encountered was fluctuating pricing. While some variation is normal, the changes felt excessive and weren’t always well-explained in my statements. I also found that call wait times could be quite long, and once I did speak to someone, they didn’t always have the authority or information needed to resolve my issues on the spot. On the positive side, I have to admit that service interruptions were rare. AGL seemed to maintain a stable power supply with very minimal outages. Additionally, setting up my online profile and switching plans was straightforward, thanks to their modern website interface. Overall, I’m left feeling disappointed, primarily because the customer service and billing discrepancies overshadowed the reliable electricity supply and user-friendly tools. If AGL could improve communication and provide more transparent billing, they’d offer a much better experience for customers like me.
