I have been with this bank since I started work and I had no problems since. they do however need to work on keeping customers safer from scammers
I have been with them for 29 years and overall the bank has been good and efficient. The last 2 years things have not gone as smoothly and lending restrictions by the government caused me some difficulties. On a good note when I put in a formal complaint it was dealt with professionally, with empathy and understanding. The staff in some branches are fantastic and others not so much so definitely worth shopping around for a good branch
Excellent bank because they care about customer
I have found that westpac have been a great bank for all my banking needs . I have found them efficient and helpful when needed also money back when there have been overdrawn fees which I was very happy about low fees and just an overall easy and pleasant bank to work with .
All good I have never had a problem
The online app is easy to use (and as clearly set out as my answer). They answer the phone promptly. There are no charges. There is a local branch. They flag up unusual purchases. The online app gives you detailed cashflow reports and an option to curtail some types of spending. They have a temporary lock option on cards. They investigate and refund fraudulent payments on my account. They suggested and provided a worldwide wallet card for a trip away. The new cards are easy to read. The only con is that, sometimes, my access to my account or services provided is hampered by technical difficulties.
This bank goes out of their way to solve any problems you may have! I was scammed out of a large amount of money in 2 transactions over 5 mins. They replaced 98% of what I lost and now have more ways to protect your money. 2 step verification, text messaging when your account amount has been deducted. If directly debit they can confirm with you if you agreed to the transaction. The accountants are great to deal with. Only cons would be minimal physical branches for personal business. Overall I would recommend this bank, also I like having an everyday transaction account with a linked savings account that I can move money between with no fees and interest earning percentage on the saver account.
They always go above & beyond to explain things so I can easily understand without fancy technical terms and make sure my products are the right ones for me taking in to account my circumstances.
Great bank ahead of everyone else with information available on the app but they need to bring back card less cash
My local Westpac has the best staff anywhere , from the manager down all are so helpful and go out of their way to consistently achieve superior results. I cannot praise them enough
